Tamarind Tree’s original 12th and Jackson location is open and will continue serving our valued customers for the foreseeable future. As well, our family has had the fortune to take over the former R Place building. We hope to continue the space’s legacy in a new vision, a simple Vietnamese menu, and a relaxing lounge that embraces the old and new memories of Capitol Hill. In the meantime, we are working with a number of local nonprofit organizations to raise money for LGBTQ+ awareness through arts and special events.
